The Cava Regulatory Board is collaborating with the Multiple Sclerosis Association ADEMGI in a charity market that the institution has organized for Christmas with the aim of raising funds for various projects carried out to improve the quality of life of patients.
The market, which will be up throughout the month of January, is located in ADEMGI headquarters at San Sebastian. Citizens who wish to contribute with this beneficial market can choose from over one hundred products, including boxes of cava bottles, which will go on sale at a nominal fee.
Cava Regulatory Board collaborates with the non-profit association, which was declared of public utility and in 2008 was awarded the Medal of Merit Citizen.
Cava producers sold 152,2 million bottles abroad during 2011, which jeans a 2,07% increase over 2010 and sets a new international record in the history of this sparkling wine, according to the data announced today in a press conference by the Cava Regulatory Board chairman, Gustavo García Guillamet.
