Cava Regulatory Board has organized a Christmas snack shop in Alambique, Madrid. Guests had the opportunity to taste the Cava Joven, Reserva, Gran Reserva and Rosé with five exquisite and varied appetizers: tapenade with anchovies, salmon tartare, tempura lobster with basil, brandade of cod and tuna sashimi.
Cava cannot miss on the table during Christmas meals and this was a good opportunity to learn to distinguish between different types of cava, their moments of consumption and their chances of pairing with different dishes.

Cava producers sold 152,2 million bottles abroad during 2011, which jeans a 2,07% increase over 2010 and sets a new international record in the history of this sparkling wine, according to the data announced today in a press conference by the Cava Regulatory Board chairman, Gustavo García Guillamet.
